Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music songwriter and vocalist who hails from America. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows her previous album. Ashley Monroe, Assistant Village Manager of the village of Riverside Illinois has more than fifteen years of experience within working in the government sector. She spent nearly five years in Iowa City as the Deputy City manager. In her position as Assistant Village Director, she oversees managing the Community Development and Building Department. This includes coordinating the grant application process and also completing specific projects. Ashley's role in Riverside is to aid in the day-to-day operations of village services and implement the strategy laid out by elected officials. Ashley's previous roles include government planning communications budgeting the management of staff and collective negotiations. Ashley is also passionate about climate change.
